Jerome swears by his "warrior diet" grounded in organic meats, fruits and vegetables. He keeps his freezer stocked with organic, free-range lean meats bought in bulk. His shelves hold whole wheat, gluten-free pastas, wild and brown rices and he prefers to buy his fruits and vegetables just a day or two before he eats them. For vegetarians he recommends black and red beans, tofu and garbanzo beans as meat substitutes. Perhaps surprisingly, Jerome doesn't tend to eat all that much in a day or all that frequently. He doesn't go around feeling hungry, though, drinking water all day and keeping Clif bars stashed in the glove compartment. He says his diet keeps him "energetic and light on my feet all day." Here's a typical day of healthy eating for Jerome:
